Mark R. Turner - Treasurer

Mr. Turner is Director of the Harris RF Communications Division (RFCD) Software and Secure Products Engineering Organization. He has over 25 years experience in the software engineering and radio communications industries. He is currently responsible for Harris RFCD Software Engineering activities for military radio and high grade security products, including Sierra II programmable cryptographic solutions.

Mark has been responsible for the development of millions of lines of software for military SDR products, including the AN/PRC-117F (C) multi-band man-pack radio and the VULOS and HAVEQUICK waveform applications for the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Information Repository among others. Mark is the voting member for Harris Corporation at the Object Management Group and Software Defined Radio Forum organizations, and is currently on the SDR Forum Board of Directors. He has been the author and presenter of numerous technical papers and presentations regarding embedded software development, Software Defined Radio, Cognitive Radio, programmable security and JTRS. He was presented with the Harris Corporation 2005 and 2007 Industry Recognition awards for his work and technical contributions in the military SDR community.
